Good Books and Cute Babies

I had the great pleasure of spending part of my Christmas holiday with the youngest members of my family; a beautiful three week old little princess named Chloe and her handsome two year old brother, Everett.

This charmingly young man enjoyed opening many presents during our family gathering. He received a nice variety of things to play with, build, wear, and yes, to read. In fact, not only did he receive books for Christmas this year, Everett also shared his existing collection of books with those of us fortunate enough to spend time with him. Between all of us, I believe more than a dozen books were read on Christmas Day.

Hard to think of anything more heartwarming than having a young person climb up in your lap to discover a book together. What a wonderful Christmas gift…reading books with my little Buckaroo.
