Patti Callahan’s New Book

I don’t think Two Sides has promoted the arrival of a new book. Here is the first one.

Lory and I both liked, really liked, Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan. We interviewed Patti, and we both enjoyed the interview a lot. We wished we could have talked longer.

Preparing for the interview, I read four of Patti’s other books. The others weren’t Wardrobe, but I enjoyed them all.

Patti’s new book, The Secret Book of Flora Lea will be released on May 2. I’m saying this without having talked to Lory (Hope she’s on board), but Two Sides encourages you to check out Flora Lea.

During World War II, children were sent from London to the countryside to get them away from the risk of bombing. This is part of Flora Lea. Two Sides listeners might remember that my most frequently recommended book, The War That Saved My Life, also touches on the evacuation of children from London.

I’m planning to read Flora Lea. Hope you are too.
